Luxardo Gourmet Maraschino Cherries are, in my opinion, the very best cherries for your cocktail garnish. I use them in my Manhattans. The rich, intense flavor adds a level of sophistication that the neon red bar cherries can’t touch. I like to add a little of the syrup to sweeten things up and take the edge off when I’m not using the very best of the other ingredients.
Not just for cocktails, when I’m feeling particularly indulgent I will pour a little of the syrup over ice cream. Bliss!
These are delicious and decadent. Try not to just eat them right out of the jar. Save some for your cocktails.
